General Manager
Mat Price

General Manager of all three venues. Mat Price moved here from Sydney 8 months ago. He has over 25 years experience.

Starting his career with the 400 seat Lagoon Seafood Restaurant Wollongong, he spent 10 years with them in a senior management position prior to expanding his skill set into 5 star hotels as the food and beverage manager. Along with the 5 star QT hotels and resorts Port Douglas, he relocated back to Sydney in 2014 taking on the restaurant managers role with Nick’s Seafood restaurant Darling harbor.

Mat has also previously taken on the position of general managers for the chef hat wining fine dining venue 12 Micron, Barangaroo in Sydney.

Working with the 2 hat winning executive chef Justin Wise, With a passion for all things hospitality and a firm belief in team culture and guest experience !

Tim has 17 years experience within high end al a carte dining environments.

Beginning his career in NZ working for well known venues such as Copita Wine Bar in Wellington prior to moving to Queenstown and the fine dining venue Gantleys along with Fernaux Lodge in the picturesque Marlborough Sounds, moving to Melbourne in 2002 Tim enjoyed time with Graham Bliss along with Captain Baxters.

Tim’s passion for fresh seafood, accessible casual fine dining and creativity will know doubt drive the Blue Water Grill to great new heights.
